It's true. better believe it. Not that you can really trust since i haven't had any sex but im pretty sure its possible now. Last day in tokyo i went to Tsujuki markets as usual, except this time I arrived super duper duper early (@ 4:20am), watched the offlaoding of fish, the tuna auction and most importantly had a sushi breakfast.
There are two places that are the best of the best in Tsujuki markets. Often i arrive at tsujuki at around 8ish and by then the queues for these places are well established (3hrs in length), often going around the corner. After the tuna action at 5:30, which was amazing in itself, i wandered around taking in the sights, looking at things in detail that i previously glanced over in previous visits. Things like stopping to watch people fillet fish, eel and other things or watching them load the tuna and wipe it down.
I arrived at sushi-dai at 7ish, and i was 6th in line (WOOOHOOO). 30 minutes later, i was placed in the precarious predicament of food SO TASTY that i wanted to just gobble it up, but so interesting in texture that i wanted to keep chewing ti for a while longer. It wasnt fancy sushi, just so fresh and perfect in every way.
I was sitting next to 3 tokyoites (who studied abroad) and an american, just conversing over breakfast. As we would be talking they would suddenly be reduced to silly anime sounds like "ummmmmmeeeeeeee!!!" or "suggggggooiii ooiiissshhhii" in that high pitch jap voice (even the guy). The american was even more exaggerated, she had tears in her eyes from the very first peice (which was o-toro).
Today I had real sushi. In a way it makes me sad, like how Rome turned me away from gelato.
So 7hrs to kill before my flight back. Can some1 bring a pair of shoes for me on saturday and also gimme a lift from Epping station? Yes?? Cheers!

that's a big call there. your wife is either going to have to feel the same way about food, or she/you are going to have some high expectations.
